Early HIV symptoms

A very special fact about HIV is, that an infection may develop early HIV symptoms. Early means in this case, in a range from 6 weeks to a few months. The most recent symptoms during this period are flu-like. Because of that, they are often overlooked by medical personnel and doctors. If you notice one or more of these HIV symptoms, you should contact your doc in order to get you testet on HIV antibodies:

  • fever
  • eczema
  • pain in the limbs
  • swollen lymph nodes
  • Attention: please note, that those early symptoms of HIV will most commonly not appear. Hence HIV may be overlooked if you don't inform your doc about the fact, that you could have been infected with the hi-virus!
