Keren Dunaway was 5 when her parents used drawings to explain to her that they both had the HIV virus — and so did she.
Now the 12-year-old is one of the most prominent AIDS activists in Latin America and a rarity in a region where few children are willing to break the silence and tell their classmates they have HIV for fear of rejection.
"Sometimes I have so much fun that I forget I have this" virus, she said.

indeed, it's good to hear; it's a refreshing change and it's also a way in which people can see that, with adequate care, it's possible to live a full, healthy life
Children are some of the best spokes people for things such as AIDS or HIV. It is sad to see a child infected with this virus but sometimes so inspirational to see how well they take life once they realize what they have.
