Well it is never a bad idea to take every precaution that there is but one of the big reasons contact with other bodily fluids is really watched out for is many who are HIV positive also suffer other issues such as Hepatitis which is contracted through most body fluids and diseases of that nature.
But they are not stressed to wear gloves simply for their own health, improper precautions puts these patients at risk because their immune systems are weak and vulnerable. A sniffle to you is critical pneumonia to them.
That is good to know, but you know in the health care dept. They stress wearing gloves and not getting any of these other fluids on you if you are in contact with an infected person to insure not getting it. Is this information out there for everyone to see? I mean, when a nurse puts on 2 or 3 pairs of gloves to make sure they dont get it just to take your temp. It makes you wonder.
Well, using gloves 2 or 3 pairs at least is usually part of the hospital protocol. Also, that is to protect the health care providers from being infected.
That's very informative! That's why a person who had conversation with an infected person won't be infected that quick and easy! You need gallons and gallons of saliva in order to transmit the HIV!
