1. Rapid weight loss
2. Dry cough
3. Recurring fever or profuse night sweats
4. Profound and unexplained fatigue
5. Wollen lymph glands in the armpits, groin, or neck
6. Diarrhea that lasts for more than a week
7. White spots or unusual blemishes on the tongue, in the mouth, or in the throat
8. Pneumonia
9. Red, brown, pink, or purplish blotches on or under the skin or inside the mouth, nose, or eyelids
10. Memory loss, depression, and other neurological disorders
I just wanted to add that just because you have any one or more of those symptoms doesn't mean you have got HIV. You can only know you have the virus by taking an antibody test
I think noticing these symptoms is a good way to start thinking about an HIV test. It might not necessairly mean you have the virus but it's a good sign to take a test specially if you are or have been at risk to contract it.
Well, anytime you have several of these types of symptoms it may be a good idea to get it checked out. Because a lot of these symptoms can also be indicators of other major illnesses. So even if you don't really think that you could be HIV positive, it would still be worth checking and eliminating that possibility, and then going on and trying to find out what else it might be.

However, these symptoms can be caused by something else. I have heavy fatigue and memory loss, which I have recently found out is associated with my anemia.
