Due to the failure of conventional medicine, many traditional or holistic healing methods like herbalism, ayurveda and homepathy have been used to combat HIV and AIDs.
Do you think these methods do any good or worse harm?
These methods which are not scientifically supported certainly won't do any good, physcically at least, and unless the method itself harms the victim like an allergy to an herb for instance, it certainly won't do any harm either. _________________ Life is what we make it, always has been, always will be. ~Grandma Moses
It can't hurt, as long as the patient doesn't get extreme. I believe the mental attitude is very important, no matter what the disease is that is being battled. If folks believe, it can go a long way. _________________ ==Go to your happy place!
I guess when conventional medication and therapy do not work, people will turn to alternative means to find a cure. I think there is nothing wrong with this but they should continue with conventional means and supplement with non proven methods.

I agree with you, it won't hurt if you'll try resorting to traditional method. As long as it will not further aggravate the symptoms. Sometimes, the psychological part also influences for instance the faith healing.
