surfville Joined: 01 Aug 2008 Posts: 95				Posted: Mon Aug 04, 2008 9:21 am    Post subject: Kaposi's Sarcoma     I have read that Kaposi's sarcoma occurs to those who have AIDS. Why is that they develop such? Are only AIDS patients suffer from this?

Maybe you can start with where does it start, a little of something would really help anyone who isn’t familiar with that kind of sickness.

surfville Joined: 01 Aug 2008 Posts: 95				Posted: Mon Aug 04, 2008 9:48 am    Post subject:     What I know about Kaposi's Sarcoma is that it is a cancer that causes patches of abnormal tissue to grow under the skin, in the lining of the mouth, nose, and throat or in other organs. I just read from an article few weeks back that it is associated with AIDS. But I'm not sure if only AIDS patients suffers from this...

Since the syndrome already had a name, I assumed that it occurred in other situations and not just those where HIV infection was present.

I would have to agree,if it was an unnamed disease then maybe I would say it only affects AIDS patients. But with it already being named I am sure it was something they had seen before.
