Brooklyn-based STF(ree) is making private issued cards so your potential lovers can check the results of your last two AIDS/HIV tests. No lying, no guessing, no putting off the inevitable. All you have to do is fill out their enrollment form and ask your doctor to send your lab results to STF. Then you’ll be issued an ID card.
I don't have a problem with this at all but I'm sure most will have. Do you think this license thing will work?

Heck, no. That dog won't fly, as the expression goes. In the first place, everything these days can be faked, and it wouldn't take much for anyone who wanted to, to get around the system. In the second place, the majority of folks are not about to carry out a ID card for their sexual status, medically speaking. It's just not in our nature.

As an insurance company I want to know all about the risks I'm taking by offering you a policy. Oh - I think you lied on the application, I'll just hire Drake Investigations from ol' Perry Mason's office to send a decoy to your favorite bar. You'll show that person your STD card, hoping to get laid, and someone in Drake's office will break into their records or computers to make sure you haven't faked the card or the results.
Nice.
An insurance company isn't the only one who'd like to have us all carry cards with this kind of information on it.

| That sounds weird! I don't think that thing will work. All you need is trust and good communication with your (prospective) partner. You need not to pay or what just to stalk on your partner's record! |

It is weird. Just imagine that if you want to have a sex with anybody then you should be getting some license like that of having some guns or license to drive a car. You will have to pay for this license. |

| there's always someone out there who wants to make an extra buck... point of the matter is that the conversation is important; if people aren't willing to ask a new partner if they have been tested, is it really all that likely that they'll ask to see a license and take the time to go online? |

Yes exactly. This will never work and for two reasons,number one people who have this virus shouldn't have to carry a card around, the know what and when to tell their parents. Second,if you aren't going to bother to ask you aren't going to bother to check out the card and find out. |

exactly - if you're not asking questions, you're not going to start just because someone could be carrying a little card |
