No I don't think so. It seems generalized but at the moment I can't think of a particular job as an exception. It really all comes down to just plain stigma vs a rational pertinent reason. _________________ Life is what we make it, always has been, always will be. ~Grandma Moses
I think HIV testing is not really necessary unless it is directly related to the job such as prostitution. But such kind of job is not legally accepted. But HIV testing is beneficial in the sense that it will help prevent or control symptoms in the case a person was found out to be infected.
absolutely not; no more than depression, cancer or hepatitis should be tested for (hepatitis is thrown in because it's more communicable than HIV/AIDS) within the work place. if it doesn't directly impact your ability to do your job, it shouldn't matter
I don't think it should be required for you to be tested to work anywhere. Of course if you work in a field where if you were to get hurt and your blood was to mix with someone else's blood then maybe but it should be presented to that person if they feel they shouldn't have to it then the company should not enforce it. Of course it can be hard to get the virus this way.
