Wafarin is a synthetic drug derived from the naturally occurring coumarins found in many plant species worldwide. Coumarins are the parent organic compounds that work as natural pesticides in plants. When combined with glucose, they produced glycosides which are anticancer, antifungus and anti-cougulant. All structurally related coumarins show potent ant-HIV activity.

Do you know if this is being utilized today in HIV medications?

I am from the medical field and sad to say I haven't heard of such treatment done to HIV/AIDS infected clients. Where did you learned this? I'm interested to know.
